Leica C-Lux 2 Digital Camera

Leica has announced the ultra compact LEICA C-LUX 2 Digital Camera which updated its line of C-Lux point-and-shoot digital camera. LEICA C-LUX 2 Digital Camera has a 7.2 megapixel lens with a 3.6 x optical zoom and a large 2.5 inch colors LCD display, memory storage 64MB with expandable with SDHC memory card, SD memory card and Multimedia card.

The LEICA C-LUX 2 Digital Camera also features an ultra-short shutter delay, VARIO-ELMARIT lens, a wide-angle 28mm zoom lens as well as optical image stabilization and intelligent exposure control to help prevent camera shake. The camera also can record video with sound in 16:9 format with 848×480 pixels, in 4:3 format with 640×480 pixels at either 30fps or 10fps, duration of recording limited by the capacity of the memory card.

The LEICA C-LUX 2 Digital Camera will be available in May 2007 in either black or silver metal body and measuring only 3.5″ x 2.0″ for retail price from US$500.
