September 28, 2006 by admin
Everio HD model mock-up equipped with 3CCD. It seems that it zooms ten optics times when guessing from the print of the lens though the zoom magnification has not been opened to the public.

Three progressive scannings CCD of newly developed 16:9 of 1/5 types and the 1,016×558 total pixel dots (976×548 effective dots) are used. It corresponds to full HD (1,920×1,080 dots) by adopting diagonal pixel structure.
In new CCD, it has about twice pixel size (3.28×3.28′m) compared with the past, and the improvement of MTF(Modulation Transfer Function) and sensitivity is aimed at. After it processes it as 1080p, the input signal is converted into 1080i and recorded.
